Everything Old is New Again…
A few weeks back, we were introduced to Tactical Bacon, fully cooked bacon in a can. I even purchased a can of TacBac and it now resides in a place of honor on my desk so that I shall be prepared in the event of the coming Zombie Apocalypse.
Color me surprised when I found this on the interwebs courtesy of Dave’s Cupboard…
Three ounces of pressed, pre-fried bacon…in the shape of a small brick! Glorious!Â
Dave even found a 1963 article about the amazing invention of freeze-dried food in “Sports Illustrated”.
