Traveling for a week can really pile things up on a guy!  How does this pertain to TDB? Well I’ve got a PACKED DVR with tons of stuff to watch, including two episodes of “Top Chef“…hence the reason why no recap yet. Also, I can’t get the photos off my camera right now, so I can’t get my Fast Food Friday post up today. Plus, I’m leaving early today to head up to MSU for Homecoming.  Need to start that party early.

I should get back to a normal schedule next week as I’ll mostly be either sitting at my desk or sitting at home (I lead such an exciting life).  So let’s just plan on meeting up back here on Monday!  I’ll catch up on the stuff above plus have a little review of my dinner at Aqueous, the AAA Four Diamond restaurant at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, that incuded plenty of bacon!

When I worked in radio, way back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth, I had an Incredible Hulk tie.  I called it my “power tie” (get it, Hulk, power?? Man I was funny even then). Honestly I would wear that tie into every meeting where I had to close the deal with an advertiser and BAM…signature on the dotted line.

All this tie is doing for me is making me hungry.  Quite the distraction when in the middle of a presentation you look down and suddenly your thinking…..mmmmm, breakfast!

Curse you Zynga!!!

Since joining Facebook almost two years ago, I have become slightly addicted to a few of the games developed by Zynga.  Most notably, Mafia Wars!

The same group launched a new game about two weeks ago and I made the mistake of starting to play it.  Now, I’m addicted.

It’s called Cafe World.  Your job is to make various dishes that are tied to a number of experience points.  The more you level up, the more goodies you get and recipes you can make.

The VERY FIRST recipe – Bacon Cheeseburgers!!!

I have never heard or seen such a thing and I truly believe I am a better person for now knowing this exists.

This recipe was submitted to “Red Eye“, the Chicago Alt Paper, for a contest called the Virtual Kitchen Stadium where readers submit recipes for “Top Chef” winner, Stephanie Izard to judge.  After three weeks, a finalist is selected and will cook their dish with Stephanie at one of her Wandering Goat dinners.
