Well lookie here…our regular Tuesday segment is once again back on it’s “proper” day.

Here are your advertised bacon specials at Michigan grocery store chains for the week of 4/25 – 5/1/10.

Meijer- Meijer Sliced Bacon, Regular, Turkey (yeah, Turkey) or Center Cut, 12-16 oz. ($1.89)

Busch’s – Spartan Bacon, Select Varieties, 16 oz. (2 for $5)

Hiller’s - Smithfield Naturally Hickory Smpoked Sliced Bacon, Select Varieties, 16 oz. ($2.89)

Hollywood - No Advertised Specials the Week

Spartan Stores* - Spartan Bacon, Select Varieties, 16 oz. (2 for $5)

Heartland Marketplace - Spartan Bacon, Select Varieties, 16 oz. (2 for $5)

SuperValu Foods - Patrick Cudahy Bacon, Select Varieties, 14-16 oz. ($3.29)

Target – Market Pantry Sliced Bacon, 16 oz. ($2.79)

It’s amazing what one can find when doing a search for “bacon”! Google doesn’t differentiate between political pork and the kind put on our plates. Running both a restaurant called Gracie’s Place in Williamston as well as running for office (55th Judicial District – Ingham County outside of Lansing and East Lansing), your website bears a lot of interest for me.

Where else can someone find the price of bacon so readily? Great job! Keep up the good work!
