Bacon Pic of the Weekend – Hot Dog…
I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend. Along with “celebrating” International Bacon Day on Saturday, I spent some time with the family, cleaned my basement (quite a feat believe me) and finally got to the ballpark for my first Tiger’s game of the year this past Friday.
Aside from the 90 degree heat and the fact I went to the game straight from work (so my uniform was slacks and a button down), it was a good time. Verlander pitched, they kicked some White Sox tail (as would be the story all weekend) and I got to try this…
They called it a Southwestern Dog. It’s a dog topped with baked beans and bacon. I am guessing the baked beans is what makes it “southwestern”. I’ll just call it good. Next time though, I’m going to ask for some cheese…
