Went to Redcoat Tavern for burgers tonight…BEST, BURGER, EVER! Seriously, right at the top of the list…
Bad photo of GREAT burger.
So two things came out of Lil’ Baird’s mouth tonight that just filled me with joy:
“Daddy, can I eat some of your bacon?”
Then gettin’ out of the car at home:
“Daddy, let’s be ninjas!”

Hope you all are having a great night!

I actually featured this product back in October 2009…’bout time I got around to picking up a “tin”. Glad to see that they are not only still hangin’ around, but lookin’ like they’re makin’ something out of this venture!
I’ll do a “Taste Test” as soon as it comes in.

Like all good Detroiters, I did my part on this Fat Tuesday in the consumption of paczkis. The Hamtramck ladies in the office brought in a bounty of fried, sugar-coated, jelly & custard filled fat bombs for all to enjoy and we joked about there not being any bacon paczkis. Well it appears we weren’t looking in the right place…
Maple Bacon Paczki!! Made over at Lazybones Smokehouse in Roseville.
Fat Tuesday indeed!

Better Half has been bound and determined to “make the blog” over the past few weeks. Well, she pulled it off this Valentine’s Day…
She found a card with bacon on it…and it “sizzles”! That was a solid find and quite blog-worthy! Nice job babe!

God bless Archie McPhee…
A bacon “flavored” candy necklace…seriously awesome! When I grow up I could ONLY hope to be part of their Product Development team. (Pick Me A.McP, Pick Me! My wife may not like the idea, but I’d move to Seattle for you in a heart beat!)
Go get your’s for just $3.00! That’s a steal in any country!
