What is better THAN bacon!  Today’s simple, quick bacon recipe is for….

Baked bacon!

Ingredients:

• Bacon

Directions:

1. Place a long sheet of foil on a baking sheet
2. Place the bacon on top of the sheet about an inch apart from each slice
3. Put the sheet in the oven and turn it to 425 degrees and bake for 15-16 minutes
4. Remove and place the bacon on several sheets of paper towels to soak up the grease and then serve

As has been our tradition here at TDB, it’s time for the annual holiday gift recap!

Once again, Santa’s gifts fell into one of three categories: Star Wars, clothes and bacon. After all this time I think Santa finally “gets” me   I’ll save you the Star Wars and clothes photos and just bust out the premium pork (or pork related products):

It’s not the quantity, it’s the quality of the gifts!

• Gummy Bacon – never to be eaten and going on the bacon product shrine
• Bacon Candies – same as above
• Bacon Strip T-shirt from Epic Meal Time – to be worn proudly

and

• Local bacon (strips and ends & pieces) from Little Town Jerky Company – from my lil’ bro (appropriately “wrapped” in plastic grocery bags)

They made me happy! What more could you ask for?

Wow!  Three years!  I can honestly tell you that I never thought I could do this for this long, let alone that there would be enough bacon content to keep going.  It’s been one mans labor of love and I THANK ALL OF YOU who have checked us out over the years and keep coming back for more!  You are the reason I keep writing!

January 1, 2009 – my first post.  How the time has flown and the site has continued to grow! As has been custom during our last two birthdays, allow me to share some quick site stats with you:
