Nerd News…Comic-Con CosPlay…

Last weekend there was this little event called COMIC-CON happening in San Diego.  Nerd Nirvana for me and many others.  In all my years, I have only been able to go to San Diego just once and now with Lil’ Baird in the mix and as I am no longer working in the sports and entertainment industries, I probably won’t be able to go again for a few more years…so like many, I gots to get my news through the interwebs.

While catching up today, reading a few show summaries, I ran into this link on Maximum PC.  They are featuring 600 images of costumed individuals from this year’s Con.  I absolutely love CosPlay (I think it stems from my overall love of Halloween)! Some of the outfits you run into at Con’s are just incredible and VERY creative.  I will spare you the slave Leia or fat guy in spandex photo (although there are plenty featured) and just share with you the ONE photo that I thought was brilliant:

If you got a little time to kill today, check out the other 599 images.  Some outfits/characters you’ll recognize right off the bat while others, unless you are a complete nerd like me, you may have no idea who they are portraying.  It is all in good fun and some really are impressive.

Makes me more determined than ever to finally develop that Lobot costume…maybe this year…
