The Bobcats completed an improbable, if not almost impossible, comeback with that successful conversion, which gave them a 48-47 win over Windham on Saturday afternoon.

“We never sweated it. We had them right where wanted them,” said Maranda. “We were down, 41-19 (at the end of the third quarter), and looked at each other and knew we had game-planned this.”

Then they laughed. This was something that no one could have planned for.

Down 22, they score 29 IN THE FOURTH QUARTER!  Way to rally bacon.  Let’s just not make a habit out of this.

Next up…Norwich Free Academy Wildcats on Saturday.  The Wildcats (3-0) are coming off a 41-3 drubbing of Griswold.
