COLCHESTER —The Norwich Free Academy cheerleaders got a workout on the sideline Saturday in the Wildcats’ rout of Bacon Academy.

The squad, which does push-ups for every one of its team’s points after scoring plays, eventually decided that enough was enough. After the last NFA touchdown in the Wildcats’ 53-7 win, the cheerleaders performed jumping jacks instead.

Damn!   Maybe it was just to good of a weekend for me with Michigan State beating Michigan and the Lions crushing St. Louis that all of my football karma was effectively used up.

So “we” are now 2-2 heading into this weekend’s away game with Montville.
