Grease is the way we are feeling…

Yes sir, over the last few days I have been reading a lot about bacon grease.  It was used to infuse an Old Fashioned, there was an ode to it’s virtue, I’ve seen it in several new recipes that I am considering for posting and EVEN for use in making bacon soap (more on that tomorrow).

That got me thinking…and that’s never a good thing…how should I go about trying to make some of these things while not keeping an old can of grease in the house (which would surely gross out and disturb Better Half)?

This thing is sharp looking and hopefully as functional as they claim.

I bought one today so I’ll let you know how it works!  Hopefully I’ll be enjoying bacon fried hash browns and bacon infused whiskey VERY soon! ;-)
