Okay…maybe this bacon thing is going a little to far.  This coming from the guy who bought the Bakon Vodka…

BUT, then I read one of the suggested drink recipes and now I’m thinking that I should give it the old college try.

Bacon Bourbon Sour

INGREDIENTS:

• 1 oz. Torani Bacon Syrup
• 1 oz. fresh lemon juice
• 2 oz. bourbon
• 3 inch bacon strip (garnish)

DIRECTIONS:

1. Combine syrup, lemon juice and bourbon in a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Shake well and strain into an old-fashioned glass.
3. Garnish by placing a small strip of cooked bacon across the rim of the glass.

Hmmmmm…intrigued (while still slightly disgusted)
